The National Association of District Directors (NADD) was
founded in August of 1992 with the expressed goal “to bring together a
group of ASCS/USDA employees to form a support and professional
organization”. NADD soon received status as the official representative of
District Directors by the then Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation
Service.
With the formation of the Farm
Service Agency, NADD is now one of only four employee
organizations officially recognized by FSA.
NADD plays a key role in strengthening and enhancing the
operation of FSA by ensuring that farmers are served in a fair and equitable
manner and that decisions made, are in their best interests.
